The 25% discount on Qatar Airways award flights cuts the Avios cost on select routes to/from Doha, including Singapore, Bucharest, and Manila. For Business Class to Europe, the net savings are real, but the booking fee of about S$350 each way (two segments) eats into value. Economy to Europe suffers from S$226.60 in taxes one-way, making the discount marginal unless cash fares spike. The math favors Business or First on the eligible routes.

The two-way link between Finnair Plus and Radisson Rewards is live, but the conversion math is ugly. Three Avios buy five Radisson points, and each Radisson point is worth 0.2 cents, so you are cashing out Avios at under a third of a cent. The reverse direction, 10 Radisson points per Avios, only works if you need Avios and have no hotel use for the points. The real value is the status match: Silver and Gold land Radisson Premium, Platinum and Platinum Lumo get VIP, with matched status valid two years. Link accounts on the Finnair Shop portal, but keep conversions out of it.

HSBC UK is offering a 20% conversion bonus on Premier Credit Card and Premier World Elite Mastercard points to Avios through September 30, 2026. The math only works if you already hold British Airways upgrade or 2-4-1 vouchers, because long-haul BA awards now carry carrier surcharges so heavy they function as discounted paid tickets. Without those vouchers, the bonus is just icing on a fee-laden cake.

British Airways Holidays is offering up to 20,000 bonus Avios on flight+hotel or flight+car packages booked by 1st September 2026. The bonus scales by trip length: 5,000 Avios for 3-6 nights, 10,000 for 7-9, and 20,000 for 10+. This stacks with the standard earn of 1 Avios per £1 from BA Holidays, plus 3 Avios per £1 from the BA Amex Premium Plus card (until 6th October), plus flight Avios — a quadruple dip. You also earn tier points at a higher rate and only need a deposit now, with final payment due weeks before departure.

The British Airways Amex Accelerating Business Card is offering 40,000 Avios after you spend £5,000 in three months, up from the standard 30,000. This is the first special offer since 2022, and it accepts sole traders, which other Avios-earning business cards no longer do. After 7 October the earning rate drops from 1.5 to 1.25 Avios per £1, but the card adds a £200 annual statement credit for Avios Hotels or Avios Car Hire bookings, usable once in October 2026 and again in January 2027. The £250 annual fee is partly offset by that credit, and you can earn up to 30,000 bonus Avios per calendar year by spending £20,000 per tier.

Qatar Airways is selling Avios with up to 50% bonus through August 25, 2026, at 1.53 US cents each. That is pricier than British Airways Avios Booster (1.1 euro cents) or their subscription (1.2 euro cents). But Qatar Privilege Club often has better redemption rates than other Avios programs, so the higher buy-in only works if you have a specific Qatar Airways or partner award in mind that pushes the cpp well above 1.53. Without that, you are overpaying for miles.

Hilton is offering 1,000 Avios on top of your usual Honors points for a single cash stay at any Hilton brand, but you must register and set Qatar Airways Privilege Club as your preferred airline partner before 31st August. Existing bookings count, but reward nights and stays straddling the deadline do not. The bonus posts to your Qatar account and can then be transferred to British Airways. Stack it with the current American Express cashback offer (up to £50 on £200 spend) and the Hilton summer weekends sale for up to 20% off weekend rates.

Revolut RevPoints can be converted to Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, or Vueling Avios at a 20% bonus from August 17–30, 2026. The offer is limited to Revolut customers with a registered address in Ireland, the UK, or Spain. Once converted, Avios can be moved to Finnair or Qatar Airways via BA or Avios.com, making this a flexible play for European and long-haul redemptions. The value depends on your typical Avios redemption rate, but a 20% lift on any transfer is rare for this currency.

British Airways launches Heathrow-Melbourne via Kuala Lumpur on 9th January 2027. The KL-Melbourne segment alone shows 176,000 Avios + £499 return in Club World business class, with up to four seats available. The problem: there is zero Club World award space between Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur on any day after launch. You must find your own way to KL, using cash, Malaysia Airlines with Avios, or a partner like Qatar Airways or Cathay Pacific. The multi-partner Avios chart might help.

The Avios-Pizza Express double-up promotion gives you 1p per Avios on vouchers until 31 August, a solid rate for Avios. But the value drops sharply after that: from 1 September, the conversion rate reverts to 0.5p per Avios, and vouchers cannot be combined with Pizza Express Club offers, rewards, or other promotions. If you convert now, you must use the vouchers before 1 September to get the full 1p value. After that, the deal becomes a poor use of Avios.

Avios.com now shows Iberia and British Airways award availability a month at a time, a real step up from the finicky week-by-week searches on both airline sites. Searching Madrid to JFK for two in business class surfaced multiple February days with at least two seats, sometimes on two separate flights. But you can't book through Avios.com - the site only finds availability, then sends you to Iberia.com or BritishAirways.com to book. Taxes and fees are absent, so you'll need the airline site for the total, and BA's surcharge-reduction option via extra Avios remains a separate consideration.

The two-way conversion between Finnair Plus and Radisson Rewards is a one-way street in practice. Moving 3 Avios to 5 Radisson points prices each Avios below one-third of a US cent, while Radisson awards are fully dynamic and worth about 0.2 cents per point. The reverse direction, 10 Radisson points to 1 Avios, can borderline work if you have no use for hotel points and want to route into BA or Qatar via Avios. The tier match is the real play: Silver, Gold, and Platinum map to Radisson Premium, while Lumo gets VIP, though Lumo is overkill for what you get.

Avios has landed on Turo, the Airbnb for cars, but only through Qatar Airways Privilege Club. No British Airways accounts accepted at checkout. The earn rates scale with your status: Burgundy gets 1 Avios per local currency unit, Silver 2, Gold 3, Platinum 4, with no deductions for taxes or fees. Points land in Qatar and can be shifted instantly and free to BA. For a base-level renter, 1x is thin; the value lives in the status multiplier.

Avios.com added an 'I have a Companion Voucher' toggle that surfaces extra Club World seats and prices before booking. Premium Plus voucher holders get automatic visibility of otherwise hidden inventory. Marriott Bonvoy debit card referral bonuses doubled to 5,000 points through September 15, 2026. Avis is giving five British Airways Club members 100,000 Avios each for rentals booked by August 25 and completed by November 16, 2026. No registration needed, just a 48-hour minimum rental via Avios.com.

British Airways is pulling 28% of its A380 flights for the winter, grounding superjumbos to reconfigure them from 469 seats to a higher-premium 421-seat layout with more business and fewer economy seats. From November 2026 through February 2027, only five daily departures remain: twice-daily to Miami, and daily to Johannesburg, San Francisco, and Singapore. That is down from seven routes last winter, meaning far fewer award seats in premium cabins on the superjumbo for the peak holiday window.

Paying rent via Bilt with the Qatar Airways Visa Signature or Infinite earns 3 Avios per dollar on up to $50,000 a year, effectively buying Avios at 1 cent each after the 3% Bilt fee. The real signal is that a single credit card transaction qualifies your account to use those Avios for family via My List or Family & Friends — circumventing Qatar's June nominee restriction. Pair that with the Infinite card's first-year Gold status (oneworld Sapphire), which lets you book Qsuites for non-listed travelers by phone. Rent alone can also hit the $15,000 spend needed to activate the reward-fee rebate, turning the card into a self-funding Qsuite machine.

Through Sept. 27, transfer Amex Membership Rewards points to British Airways, Iberia, or Aer Lingus Avios with a 30% bonus. This reshapes the value chart: book East Coast-to-Dublin business class for 39,000 Amex points (plus $144), or West Coast-to-Hawaii for 17,000 Amex points (plus $5.60). Avios can also book Oneworld partners like American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, with short domestic flights starting at 11,000 Amex points after bonus. Remember that Avios programs use distance-based pricing, and you can transfer Avios between programs for flexibility.

American Express UK is slashing Avios earnings on the British Airways Premium Plus Card by up to 58% on BA and BA Holidays purchases, dropping from 3 Avios to 1.25 Avios per GBP effective October 7, 2026. Regular spend drops from 1.5 to 1.25 Avios per GBP, a 17% cut. The only remaining value is the 2-4-1 Companion Voucher after spending 15,000 GBP, but the card is becoming uncompetitive overall.
